The Sinfonia gives three to four orchestral concerts per year usually at All Saints, Loindfield, but also at other concert venues in the Mid Sussex area, very often engaging soloists of world class standard.  Rehearsals for these concerts usually take place at Plumpton Village Hall, Plumpton Green, or the Adastra Hall in Hassocks, and also occasionally at other venues, on the four Sundays preceding each concert.​

The Sinfonia employs the services of a professional conductor and leader.  Its members comprise professional instrumental teachers as well as very talented and experienced amateur players. New players are always welcome.  We are particularly keen to hear from string, brass and percussion players.  We suggest a minimum playing ability of at grade 7-8.
